How did Owambe Heritage come to be? 

Owambe Heritage was birthed from watching our brides, mothers, friends, family, and loved ones struggle and toil to help make our traditional occasions special. All the running around, fretting over shipment delays, delivering aso ebi door to door… wahala dey too much! So here we are to help!

 What is a bespoke aso ebi service?

That’s us! Let’s break this down a bit. An aso ebi service helps cover all your aso ebi needs for your special occasion. It can be a lot to select the aso ebi, ship it, and finally distribute to your loved ones, not to mention the stress that comes along with that. So, we do it for you! Bespoke means all our services are customized to your needs. Already selected your aso ebi and just need it shipped? Perfect! We’ll work with your source to get it shipped. Have your aso ebi, but need help getting it to your guests across the country? We’ll package it and have it delivered right to their front door. Haven’t even begun to think about aso ebi? We can handle the whole process for you.

 

What services do you provide?

  • Sourcing – We work with several Nigerian based ankara, lace, and aso oke providers to present you with several options for your aso ebi
  • Shipping – We take care of all the shipping and customs processing. From Nigeria direct to you
  • Ordering/Payment Collection – We provide you with a link for all your guests to order exactly what they want online. Guests can also place their order by phone through our office lines. Each guest is provided with an order number and a summary of their order. Just like ordering a new top online, but with aso ebi! Payment is also collected on our end and we deposit it into your account.
  • Packaging – We wrap your aso ebi in customized packaging (we can go as simple or ornate as you’d like), so it’s ready for distribution. We can even include small wedding favors
  • Distribution – We ship your guests’ aso ebi direct to their doorstep. We also have options for local pickup if guests are based in Houston

 

Will you work with other vendors?

Absolutely! We’re all about making this process easy for you. Already have a source for your fabric or already have a tailor in mind? No problem! If we can contact them, we can work everything out with them.

What geographic areas do you serve?

We currently only serve the United States. We do hope to expand to other locations in the future!
